D. Arthur finished this amazing, really amazing piece last night and I wanted to let you know about it! I'm not sure what makes this piece so unbelievable, maybe the way he moved the clouds so magically in the sky, or the way the eye peeks around the apple..or just the impish look we all identify with in Rhupert's eye, but none the less, this is a very special piece. Local Artists to Premier in Moscow
Hot Springs artists Lisa and D. Arthur Wilson have formally crossed the international boundaries as their art has been selected for the Premier Opening at the Luxor Style Fine Art Gallery in Moscow, Russia.
The formal opening in Moscow is slated for October 23, 2008 and the couple has negotiated a total of thirty of their originals to be front and center during the festivities.
Both Lisa and D. Arthur have international collectors, but have not experienced this level of notoriety beyond the borders of the US. During their recent trip to ArtExpo in Las Vegas, the Wilsons met Luxor Style President Mark Okhman and also had the rare opportunity to meet one of Russia’s leading artists, Dmitry Sandjiev. Mr. Okhman was thrilled to have the chance to launch Lisa’s Abstract Expressionism, D. Arthur’s Paradoxical Art of Rhupert, and the couple’s unique collaborative art, Renaissance Fusion Art.
